About

Hi, I’m Bryn! I’m currently a fourth-year at Cal Poly SLO studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Think of me as an aspiring Andie Anderson or Andy Sachs (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, do yourself a favor and watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and The Devil Wears Prada).

I have half-written poems in the notes on my phone. I have half-filled journals in the drawers under my bed. I have full-hearted intentions to be a writer when I grow up.

I was always the poster-child. I don’t mean the kid who was the epitome of good-behavior or always remembered her “pleases” and “thank-yous.” I mean the one in group projects who would be handed the markers and pointed toward the empty poster board.

Dresses over jeans, patterns-on-patterns, tights under shorts—my 2007 pairings would have stunned Tim Gunn. But when you’re young you don’t think twice, because instinct is all you know. That innate inclination is what made my outfits so distinctive—and it still does. Writing, designing, and illustrating are all creative outlets of mine, but the way that I express myself on a daily basis is through fashion.
